Until 1982, Muslim students and residents in Sacramento faced challenges finding a suitable place for prayer. However, in 1984, the Muslim community acquired a 1.34-acre property along with a small house which was transformed into the Masjid Annur Center (MAC). The center now hosts five daily prayers with significant attendance during Friday (jummah) prayers, where over 400 individuals including men, women, and children gather for worship. Additionally, various forms of Zakaat are diligently collected and distributed on a regular basis as part of the community's social services. This support extends to areas including births, deaths, and marriages.
The center also offers an app to facilitate community engagement and participation:

- Stay connected with the community through seamless communication
